ABSTRACT:
High altitude herbs were used as herbal perfume and used incense in the folk of Himalayan region. From aerial part of the
plants the alcohols and higher ester of fatty acids were isolated and identified. It is used in the manufacture of metallic stearates, pharmaceuticals, soaps, cosmetics, and food packaging. It is also used as a softener, fragrance.
