ABSTRACT:
UV spectrophotometric methods included Simultaneous equation method and Q-Absorption Ratio Method was developed for simultaneous estimation of of Telmisartan and Indapamide present in combined pharmaceutical marketed formuation. The developed methods were validated as per ICH guidelines. Linearity was established for Telmisartanand and Indapamidein in the range of 4-14µg/ml. The recovery studies were performed at three different levels for the content of Telmisartanand and Indapamide in combined dosage form. The average results of the studies were found to be in the range of 99.77-99.80% for Telmisartan and 99.84-100.11% for Indapamide for method 1 and 99.95-100.44% for Telmisartan and 100.07-100.33% for Indapamide, for method 2. The developed methods were found to be precise when subjected to inter day and intraday precision studies. The pharmaceutical formulations were also analyzed using the developed methods yielded satisfactory results.
