ABSTRACT:
Engineering vision and the march of mankind today stands in the middle of a deep crisis and a deep crevice of scientific introspection and alacrity. Man’s vision, mankind’s vision and human habitat in the similar vision stands in the middle of vision, purpose and capability. Sustainable nano-engineering is the vision of tomorrow. The author in this treatise deeply portrays the needs, necessities and the dictums of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Nanotechnology is today integrated with diverse areas of human scientific endeavor. It is attached and intertwined to avenues of multi-disciplinary areas of science and technology. Water and wastewater treatment are the needs of the hour as World Sustainable Development Goals surpasses one visionary frontier over another. Thus human civilization needs to tread forward towards environmental and energy resources sustainability. The author with cogent and lucid insight elucidates on the domain of sustainability and its interfaces with nanotechnology.
